Toks & Tjops had a humble beginning and the talk show was only meant to be broadcast around the 2011 Rugby World Cup. But after the tournament, the programme was so popular that it was greenlit to become a series. The presenting team won viewers’ hearts with their banter around a braai, while they kept the sport talks serious.

Toks & Tjops wouldn’t be the same without famous singers strumming their guitars. Over the years, Bok van Blerk, Theuns Jordaan, Robbie Wessels and many more have made guest appearances.

Of course all quips on the show lead back to sport. And even though the focus is on rugby, other sports are also discussed.
